Crypto-miner company Argo is closing down mining business

UK-based mining-as-a-service firm Argo will shut down its mining services on April 1 2019.

Citing the bear market, Argo will terminate all existing mining contracts and stop accepting new mining services.

The company will focus of "reducing cash burn and deliver EBITDA break-even in the second half of 2019."

State of Wyoming Passes two landmark Bills that will legitimize Crypto

The Wyoming legislature has passed two groundbreaking blockchain bills that will now head to Governor Mark Gordon for signature.

The special-purpose depository institution (SPDI) Bill and the corporate stock token Bill are crypto-friendly bills that will help crypto businesses and and investors.

The SPDI bill essentially "creates and bully-able bank" while the Corporate stock token bill recognizes tokinized stocks in lieu of paper stock certs.

"Japan's Amazon" new Payment App rumored to support Cryptocurrency

Japanese E-commerce firm Rakuten announced that a major update of its Rakuten Pay mobile app will be released on March 18.

Rakuten acquired a Japanese crypto exchange back in August 2018, and is appeared to be restructured into Rakuten's payment subsidiary, Rakuten Payment.

A B2B Export between Argentina and Paraguay was settled in Bitcoin

Crypto-payment solution Bitex connected a pest control product vendor with its client in the neighboring country, successfully exporting the products through customs.

Payments was settled in 1 hour, using Bitcoin only as vehicle of payment.

Customers on both ends were quoted in their respective local currency.
