🦁 Brave Browser Raised over $30 Million in Series A Funding - Source

Brave raised $35 million with its BAT ICO in less than a minute in 2017. It is now seeking more funding.

The privacy browser company is raising a Series A equity round.

Brave is looking to raise $30–$50 million at a valuation of roughly $133 million, the sources say.

🏛️ Coinbase Negotiates Acquisition of Xapo's Bitcoin Custody Business - Source

Coinbase is in advanced talks to buy custody provider Xapo.

Coinbase will pay ~$50 million in cash for Xapo, plus a contingent earn-out for remaining with the company.

Coinbase has acquired 14 companies since its founding.

🏳️ Blockport announces failed STO fundraising, project drops 85%

Blockport (BPO) today announced that the project's first round of STO has failed.

The STO initially planned to raise $1 Million Euro over the period of 1 month.

Initial investors of the STO will have their funds returned to them.

Blockport also announced that the platform will go offline at the end of the month.

Token-as-a-service (TAAS) has announced it will no longer continue its service and will pivot to developing other new products and services.

It now invites TaaS yet-registered token owners for registration to be eligible for asset distribution.

☕ What is Schnorr Signature?

Schnorr Signature was originally proposed to address Bitcoin's scalability.

More recently, it has been implemented into Bitcoin Cash (BCH) in its recent hard fork.

In short, Schnorr signature allows the aggregation signature from of multiple inputs or sources rather than having a signature for every input.

This will drastically decrease transaction size and subsequently increase the amount of transactions that can fit in a single block.

One direct benefit of Schnorr signature relates to MultiSig transaction, where multiple signatures signature will be aggregated into one to validate the public and private keys of each individual.

This means not only will Schnorr signature make bitcoin transaction more scalable, it increases privacy as well.
