Bitfinex launches new IEO platform

The team behind the Bitfinex and Ethfinex exchanges launches Tokinex, a new IEO platform.

The use of Blockpass (PASS) software will simplify the process of following know-your-customer guidelines for Tokinex users.

The first Tokinex IEO will launch on June 23rd 2019, with details set to release on May 23rd 2019.

Craig Wright files for copyright of Bitcoin Whitepaper

Craig Wright has filed registrations with the U.S. Copyright Office supporting his claims of authorship over the original bitcoin (BTC) code and whitepaper.

To be clear, registration does not imply ownership nor is this an official patent.

Interestingly, it is revealed in the registration that Craig registers himself as a citizen of Antigua and Barbuda.

Goldman Sachs backed Crypto Startup Circle Lays Off 30 Employees

Crypto startup Circle has laid off roughly 30 people, or about 10 percent of its staff.

The firm also is rumored to reduce its reported fundraising goal by 40% to $150 million, according to sources.

"We made these changes in response to new market conditions, most importantly, an increasingly restrictive regulatory climate in the United States," said Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire.
