There are now 100 people known to be working on the crypto project via profiles on professional networking platform LinkedIn.

Facebook also released a new wave of blockchain jobs this week, bringing the total number of openings to 28.

It is reported that Facebook will allow employee to take part of their salary in Facebook's new cryptocurrency.

💣 Margin Lenders Lost $13.5 Million in May to Poloniex Crypto Crash

Crypto exchange Poloniex revealed in a post Thursday that lenders in its bitcoin margin lending pool suffered a loss of 1800 BTC.

The loss was caused by a flash crash in the Clams (CLAM) market on May 26.

This erased over 16% of the entire margin lending pool, the post revealed.

🔥 GateHub hacked, nearly $10 million in XRP has been stolen

A theft had occurred on the crypto wallet service GateHub, to the tune of about 23,200,000 XRP.

GateHub released an official response to the event, saying it has contacted all customers whose wallets are believed to be affected

Gatehub admit the investigation is still underway, and do not currently know how the breach occurred
