🚪 Decentralized prediction market Veil is shutting down.

No new markets can be added to the platform, though users will still be able to interact with existing markets until July 24.

The platform was built on top of Augur (REP), 0x (ZRX), and Ethereum (ETH), but faced various issues including poor onboarding experience among other issues.

The Veil team and company, however, will continue to work on "higher impact products and services,"

🔥 Tether Mistakenly Minted 5 Billion USDT before Burning them

A typo resulted in 5 billion new Tether (USDT) to be minted on the Tron (TRX) blockchain.

Apparently, while Poloniex was conducting a USDT chain swap, an "issue" on Tether's end occurred which resulted in the error.

The accidentally minted coins has since been burned.

🔧 0x suspends its DEX after finding major security flaw

The team behind 0x has shut down its decentralized exchange after a bug was found.

The team since fixed the bug and redeployed a new 0x smart contract and platform.

No funds were affected, but all users were migrated to a newer version of the platform.
