🗡️ Japanese exchange Bitpoint has been hacked for $32 million in crypto assets.

Bitpoint, a licensed cryptocurrency exchange based in Japan, has been hacked for $32 million in crypto assets.

Bitpoint halted all services this morning after it noticed irregular withdrawal.

It is not yet clear yet which assets were lost, the exchange offered trading for bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), XRP, and litecoin (LTC).

🔥 Binance team is burning it's own allocated tokens

CEO CZ announced today that the Binance team will give up all 80 million of its Binance Coin (BNB) allocations towards the token burn.

The commitment starts effective immediately with the 8th Token burn, of which 808,888 BNB is burned.

Following BNB's original whitepaper, there are still 88 million BNB left to be burned to reach the eventual 100 Million BNB total supply.

Binance team will commit all 80 million of their tokens towards the burn, and the final remaining 8 million BNB will be drawn from Binance.com exchange.

The tweets came the night of Trump's "Social Media Summit," a closed-door conference that brought together many right-wing social media notables.

For proponents, the event marked a psychological milestone for cryptocurrencies - the first time a president openly mentions it.
