Howdy Carlos,
Welcome to the second email of the CoinSutra Crypto education series.
First of all, you should give yourself a pat on the back. You are one of the first few in your community to witness a path-breaking technology and making an effort to learn it.
Usually, a person spends many weeks or months to get here but since my team and I have spent countless months learning about Cryptocurrencies, we rely heavily on the tools that help us get the right information, make better decisions and foster the growth.
Here, I'm sharing some of the best resources (Wallets, Exchanges, Security tools, Portfolio management) so that you can focus on important things.
Note: You should bookmark these links as it will save you hundreds of hours. I will keep updating the list and will send you an email once every 3 months so you stay updated too :)
Let's get started.
Security tools:
Your password is the first line of defence for your security and please stop using the same password everywhere. You are responsible for the security of your wallet and passwords. Since you are into cryptocurrency world, you need to be smart and ahead of hackers. Here are the things that will help.
Password management tool:
- Dashlane: This helps you generate a new password and saves it automatically. When you log in to the site the next time, it automatically fills the username and password. Not only does it save a lot of time, but it also increases your security like Pentagon, well, almost :) The mobile app is pretty solid too. Make a habit and start using it from today.
- MetaCert Chrome add-on: This tool saves you from phishing pages. Absolutely must have!
Wallet:
- Ledger Nano S: The best way to keep your Bitcoin and 20+ cryptocurrencies safe. They also support ERC coin using MEW. If you just started, watch this video playlist to learn everything about Ledger wallet.
- Edge: If you are looking for a mobile wallet, use Edge. However, nothing beats the security offered by a hardware wallet.
- Exodus: Desktop wallet. Use this as the last resort only. Do remember, your desktop and mobile can easily be hacked whereas hardware wallets ensure your coins remain safe.
Best Exchanges for Crypto:
- Binance: The #1 Altcoin exchange with a great mobile app. Watch this video to learn about their mobile app.
- Bit.it: Popular exchange
- KuCoin: Another good exchange which is coming up with many new features.
- Changelly: Not an exchange but if you want to get any new coin Instantly, this is a great website.
Low cap exchanges:
In this journey, you will find many low cap cryptocurrencies which are priced at <$5 and have a high probability of becoming a winner. I can suggest two exchanges for the same:
- Gate.io: This one is new but you will find many newer coins. Which kind of coins? Will tell you in future emails.
Portfolio management tool:
If you really want to be sure that you are making money and not losing it, start using a portfolio management tool. They are free and save a lot of time to let you see your portfolio diversity and see how much profit have you generated from any particular coin.
- CoinTracking: For serious users who also wish to trade coins. I use this as it fetches the data from popular exchanges such as Binance and KuCoin.
Buying/Selling Bitcoins:
- LocalBitcoins: A P2P website where you can buy/sell Bitcoins directly to other users. Including in cash.
- CEX.io: If you need to buy Bitcoin using credit/debit card. This is your site
- Coinmama: Another popular European site to purchase cryptos using credit debit cards.
- CoinBase: For U.S. users who want to buy using a bank account.
For traders:
- Coinigy: For the experienced traders who ❤️ technical analysis.
Other resources:
- CoinMarketcap: Best place to see the price and other details of any coin of your choice.
- CoinMarketCal: Cryptocurrency calendar.
- Masternode.pro: All Masternode coins.
- Coinlib: You have to see it to know this one.
Well, to build our relationship I have shared some of the best tools I'm using. Just to let you know I added portfolio management and security after a CoinSutra reader requested. You too can suggest new tools that you want to be added to the list. This will be helpful for CoinSutra community.
Now, I will let you enjoy these tools and will see you in the next email.
Ta Da!
