⚡ Bitrefill's "Thor Turbo" gets you started with LN faster

Bitrefill has launched a new service that simplifies the process of creating a Lightning Network (LN) payment channel.

Instead of having to wait at least an hour (6 confirmation) to transfer their BTC over to LN, users can bypass the process with Bitrefill's "Turbo Channels".

However, Bitrefill warned that the service (and LN as a whole) as still "risky", reflecting the overall LN ethos of being "reckless".

🔧 Startup behind Radar Relay releases New LN Developer Tool

Radar, the startup behind Radar Relay DEX that raised $10 million in 2018, announces release of new LN Developer Tools.

The release is part of the company sponsored "Boltathon" a Lightning Network focused hackathon.

The tools are part of the company's Radar ION initiative, which aims to bring new users to the Lightning Network.

📈 CME Group reports "record trading day" on bitcoin futures

CME Group, the Chicago-based derivatives marketplace, has experienced an all-time high trading volume last week.

According to CME Group, the firm recorded over 22,500 bitcoin futures contracts on April 4, which is equivalent to about 112,700 bitcoins - or $589 million USD.
