🏧 Afghanistan and Tunisia interested to issue Bitcoin Bond

The Government of Afghanistan and Tunisia are looking into issuing a sovereign Bitcoin bonds.

As they face issues with obtaining international loans, issuing bonds and metal futures could be a way to access international markets for them

The countries' central bank governors believe state crypto bonds could help them with obtaining investments.

🐞 Ransomware amounts rise 90% in Q1 2019

The average ransom amount increased by 89% to nearly $13,000 in Q1 2019, according to cybersecurity firm Coveware.

The ransomware also caused increased downtime for affected companies, costing an average $66,000 per firm in Q1.

Bitcoin is demanded to be used for 98% of all ransomware payments while 2% of cases allow payments in Dash.

📕 South Korean Crypto Exchange Coinnest Announces Closure

Coinnest has announced on 18 April 2019 that they are shutting down.

Users will have until April 30th to withdraw any funds held on its platform.

The exchange added that the decision was made "after a bad year for the exchange"
