The poll was conducted from April 23–25, 2019 among 2,029 American adults. Of the surveyed population, 9% has admitted to owning Bitcoin. Younger demographics are leading in terms of Bitcoin awareness, familiarity, perception, conviction, propensity to purchase, and ownership rates. Customers can choose to receive all or a portion of a tax refund in bitcoin using the "CoinRT" serive. Customers will have to provide KYC information to be eligible for the service.
