😨 More than 37 Million Synthetix Ether compromised in Oracle Attack

Ethereum-based asset issuance platform Synthetix (SNX) experienced an oracle attack that compromised over 37 million sETH.

It is yet to be officially confirmed if the oracle attack is caused by errors or is a deliberate attack on the network.

"There has been an incident with the price feed of sKRW ... we believe an automated arb bot converted into sKRW and then into sETH." Co-Founder Kain Warwick said.

↔️ Bitfinex CTO revealed plan to allow up to 100x Margin Trading

Bitfinex will be expanding its leverage trading capabilities on the platform, according to a tweet by CTO Paolo Ardoino.

Currently Bitfinex has only allowed its users to post a margin of up to 3.3x.

Ardoino also revealed some additional information on the matter, saying that the option will only be available for verified users.
