🛠️ Bitcoin Hash Rate Hits 102 Quintillion in Historic Milestone

Bitcoin's (BTC) network hash rate has passed a record 102 quintillion hashes for the first time.

Data from Blockchain.info shows that overall network hashrate stands at 102.8 Exahash per second as of the time of writing.

The hashrate growth has excited commentators, despite coming in tandem with a moderate decline in Bitcoin price.

🏏 Huobi Expands Crypto Exchange to Argentina

Crypto exchange Huobi is expanding to Argentina as cryptocurrencies gain acceptance in the region as a hedge against the infamous inflationary peso.

The company said that it has launched Huobi Argentina, a local exchange that will facilitate purchases of a range of cryptocurrencies with the Argentine peso.

Argentina ranks fourth in terms of the percentage of cryptocurrency adoption worldwide with 16 percent, according to a report by market data provider Statista.
