Crypto startup is suing Exchange Group for $500 Million

🔔 EOS update version 1.8 Successfully Completed

EOS has successfully completed a network upgrade.

An EOS update tracking tool has shown 29 of the 30 top EOS block producers has signaled their intent to implement the update as of time of writing.

This is the largest upgrade that the network has seen so far, and the first one that required a hard fork.

🤖 Bakkt Trades 71 Bitcoin Futures Contracts in First 24 Hours

Intercontinental Exchange's (ICE) Bakkt platform has traded 71 Bitcoin (BTC) futures contracts in the first 24 hours following its launch on Sept. 22.

This data is acquired according to ICE historical data on Bakkt's Bitcoin/USD futures contract trading

Currently, the initial hedge requirement for daily and monthly futures contracts is $3,900, while the speculative initial requirement for both contracts is $4,290.

📝 Binance US to start accepting deposits for 5 altcoins

Binance US, the U.S. arm of the exchange giant, announced today that it will allow customers to deposit five additional cryptocurrencies.

The coins are Stellar (XLM), Cardano (ADA), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Basic Attention Token (BAT) and and 0x (ZRX).

Binance US will waive the transaction fee initially and start charging a 0.1% flat rate per trade after November 1.
