🧾 The IRS Just Issued Its First Cryptocurrency Tax Guidance

The U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has published its first guidance in five years for calculating taxes owed on cryptocurrency holdings.

The in guidance, Airdrops are considered "an ordinary income equal to the fair market value of the new cryptocurrency when it is received."

The new IRS document also offers long-awaited clarification on how taxpayers can determine the cost basis of coins received as income.

🌎 Coinbase Custody to Support Telegram's GRAM Token at Launch

Coinbase has announced that it will provide custodial support for GRAM, Telegram's upcoming blockchain token.

GRAM will be one of three tokens which will be supported.

🏎️ MakerDAO's Multi-Collateral DAI Token Is Launching Nov. 18

MakerDAO (MKR) is launching a new version of its programmatic stablecoin DAI next month.

Currently, users of the MakerDAO platform can only borrow DAI tokens after committing ETH as collateral.

With Multi-Collateral DAI, users can stake tokens other than Ether (ETH) as collateral in the MakerDAO system.
