🤝 Binance Launches P2P Trading for Chinese Yuan

Binance has launched peer-to-peer trading for Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH) and Tether (USDT) against the Chinese Yuan (CNY).

Users should update their Binance Android app to the latest version in order to gain access to the new service.

The exchange is also set to support WeChat and Alipay channels for fiat on-ramp.

🌎 UNICEF Launches Cryptocurrency Fund

The United Nations Children's Fund has launched a crypto fund with an aim to back open source technology for children around the world.

The so-called Cryptocurrency Fund will receive contributions in Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) and grant out the same cryptocurrencies.

"If digital economies and currencies have the potential to shape the lives of coming generations, it is important that we explore the opportunities they offer." - UNICEF Executive Director Henrietta Fore said.

❌ Poloniex Delists 6 Cryptocurrencies

Crypto exchange Poloniex has announced that it is delisting:

Clams (CLAM)
Pascal (PASC)
Steem (STEEM)
Navcoin (NAV)
GameCredits (GAME)
LBRY Credits (LBC)

The announcement is made in an email sent to users who hold them on the exchange.

Trading of the assets will be disabled on Oct. 15.

While LBC withdrawals will disable by Oct 28, the remaining currencies will be disabled by Nov. 15.
