🔥 Bitcoin's Lighting 'Torch' Reignites, 38 Countries in 3 days so far

The torch is a digital game first ignited in January 2019 by pseudonymous bitcoin enthusiast Hodlonaut, using the Bitcoin's (BTC) Lightning Network to send increasingly larger funds, until a limit and destination is reached.

⚖️ Bitcoin Cash miners propose 12.5% share of block rewards to support ecosystem

Jiang Zhuoer, CEO of BTC.TOP, has announced a proposal that would redirect 12.5% of Bitcoin Cash (BCH) block rewards to a development fund.

The plan is to implement this proposal into Bitcoin Cash's May 2020 protocol upgrade.

He states that this proposal may be controversial, but would be moved forward regardless.

"miners will orphan BCH blocks that do not follow the plan. This is needed to avoid a tragedy of the commons," He also said.

🈹 Ripple's XRP sales declined by 80% in Q4

Ripple has reported an 80% drop in sales of XRP during the fourth quarter of 2019.

The sharp decline is the result of a drop in direct institutional sales, as well as a pause in Ripple's programmatic sales

The firm sold a total of $13.08 million in XRP in Q4, compared with $66.24 million in the previous quarter.
