🛑 Tax and KYC Issues Plague Upbit's Foreign Withdrawals

It has been reported Chinese users of a cryptocurrency exchange, Upbit, have been having difficulty withdrawing their Korean Won since December.

Upbit responded it is mainly due to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Korean taxation are the main culprit why they are lagging the foreign withdrawals.

Though the Chinese users don't believe in those reasons and think Upbit is in financial trouble instead.

🌎 Ethereum-based virtual game world Decentraland has launched

Decentraland (MANA), a virtual reality game can now be played by the public by connecting their Ethereum wallets.

The game lets the players purchase virtual real estate as NFTs.

The players are able to trade their tradeable NFTs including LAND tokens, accessories, wearables and names for their avatars.

To commemorate the game, Decentraland is hosting a treasure hunt that offers virtual items worth $100,000 such as LAND tokens, wearables, CryptoKitties and others.

⚽ Fantasy football game Sorare tokenizes Cristiano Ronaldo

Sorare, a fantasy football game, recently tokenized a football team, Juventus FC where Cristiano Ronaldo is a member.

The NFTs are now available for players to buy and compete using the cards in the fantasy leagues.

The cards also can be traded on secondary markets, such as OpenSea.

But Cristiano Ronaldo cards are limited to 111 cards and it can be bid during presale that ends on Friday.
