👨‍⚖️ Singapore's Court of Appeals Rules Against Quoine Exchange in Landmark Crypto Case

The first of its kind crypto-related legal case has officially concluded in Singapore after 3 years of battle.

Almost 3 years ago, B2BC, a market maker filed a lawsuit against Quoine (now known as Liquid), Quoine counter-sued and a legal battle has since been ongoing until now.

B2BC originally sued because Quione has reset its balance after several trades have already been made.

Quoine then sued on the basis that is that it had the right to cancel market orders placed by a market maker, B2C2.

Singapore International Commercial Court ruled that Quoine breached the contract with B2BC's trade, dismissing Quoine's claim.

📈 FTX is selling its equity for bitcoin and other payment methods

FTX, a crypto derivatives exchange just launched its equity token today. Users could purchase it via bitcoin and other methods.

Each equity token costs $2 each and users could only make a purchase of $250,000 and above. 

The tokens are, however, not tradeable, withdraw-able and do not give the same voting rights as equity shares in FT Trading Ltd.

The sale of the tokens are expected to take between March 1 and 7.

🛴 Coincheck Announces Qtum Soon Available for Trading

Coincheck, a cryptocurrency exchange has announced they are going to support Qtum (QTUM) on their platform soon.

When it is available, they will be able to do transactions with Qtum including buying, selling and lending. 

Through the lending, users could gain up to 5% annual interest rate.

The release date has yet to be announced.
