Russian Central Bank Admits It Can't Ban Crypto

Although cryptocurrencies are not exactly legal in Russia, it seems like they won't ever be banned, either.

The Director of the Bank of Russia's legal department has admitted in an interview that Bitcoin and cryptocurrency cannot be realistically banned.

However, the Central Bank still believe that there are great risks in legalizing the circulation of cryptocurrency in the country, specifically to financial stability and regulating money laundering and consumer rights.

Huobi Derivatives Introduces Circuit Breaker and Partial Liquidations

As a response to the recent market crash, Huobi DM, a derivative trading platform introduced a new "partial liquidation" feature that would limit users' losses.

The crash had Huobi's platform to liquidate $27.45 million within a few hours between March 12th and March 13th.

The new feature applies to all assets and leverages on the derivatives exchange.

Binance P2P Adds Five New Fiat Currencies in Latin America

Binance, a cryptocurrency exchange, is now supporting five new Latin American fiat currencies on its peer-to-peer (P2P) platform.

Users of the Binance P2P trading platform can buy and sell cryptocurrency directly with Brazilian real, Argentine peso, Colombian peso, Mexican peso and Peruvian sol.

Supported cryptocurrencies include Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Tether (USDT), Binance Coin (BNB) and Binance USD (BUSD).
