Bitfinex launch 'Pulse' - a Trader's social media

Bitfinex is releasing "Bitfinex Pulse", a trader-centric social network.

"Verified" Bitfinex Pulse users can share their trading insights publicly and privately message other users. Unverified users will be limited to private posting only.

It is still unclear how the participants will gain the "verified" status.

Editor: Looks like Bitfinex is taking a page out of eToro, which has been doing this since their inception. Will other exchanges follow suit?

FTX plans to launch a US-based spot crypto exchange in May

FTX - which has mainly served the non-US market, is planning to launch a spot exchange in the U.S.

They are currently in beta testing and plans to launch in early May.

The platform offers USD trading pairs for six coins listed, including Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ether (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Paxos Gold (PAXG), and Tether (USDT).

Binance launches mining pool service

Binance officially rolled out a mining pool service with its initial focus on bitcoin using Full Pay-Per-Share (FPPS).

The FPPS model is one that splits the mining rewards in proportion to the hash power contribute when blocks are mined by the Binance mining pool.

Users who participate in its mining services could directly trade their mining income on the Binance exchange.

Editor: Considering that the Bitcoin halving event is just around the corner, this is like setting sail knowing a seasonal storm is coming - a ballsy move on CZ's part.
